So, welcome to the magic of parties at Alexander’s.  Bringing everyone together is what we’re about each and every day but we excel at fetching your individual parties and celebrations to life as private bookings.

In the past we’ve catered for everything from birthdays to weddings, corporate functions and exhibitions.  We can arrange for use of the courtyard at the front in Rufus Court or our beautiful garden at the back; we’ve loads of experience in using those spaces in many different ways and we’re happy to discuss that with you?

We can cater for all needs and budgets; buffets, meals and all points in between.  With a wedding licence and capacity for 150 guests we love to work with you at creating a great atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Weddings at Alexander’s

Not many people realise this but here at Alexander’s we can host your special
day for you. We are a licensed wedding venue so can take on the whole event
from ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening reception and buffets.

We generally appeal to those who want something a little bit different as we are geared up to primarily be a live music venue, we know how to throw one hell of a party.

Here at Alexander’s we try not to charge hire fees so we really can cater to your budget and requirements.
We are really flexible and can create menu’s to your requirements. Unlike most wedding venues we do not have a set packages list or menu for you to choose from. We can of course offer you some samples and suggestions but if you want something different we can do it!

With our lovely courtyard space and rear beer garden we can work with you on how you’d like your special day to unfold
